A Tale of WWI to Inspire
Support for Today's War Victims in Ukraine

The classic phrase “war never changes” exemplifies how, across centuries, the tragic human cost of war remains ever-present. This notion is well illustrated by World War I and the modern Russo-Ukrainian War, two conflicts similar not only in impact and style of combat, but also in the unfathomable human suffering.
It is these similarities that have led to the project before you. Not a Great War is a one-act stage play about the psychological and moral experiences of young English soldiers on the Western Front during World War I. Through dark comedy, I attempt to portray one of the most brutal wars in history and how it can be misrepresented as a glorious adventure
Nova Ukraine is a US-based 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Since 2014, they have sent over $142,6 million worth of aid to Ukraine, with contributions by over 149,370 unique donors.
Rooted in partnership and innovation, Nova Ukraine empowers Ukrainians to endure, rebuild, and forge their own democratic future..
I also attempt to underscore the enormous mental and physical impacts it can have on everyone involved, especially survivors.
